This work—motherhood photography—is personal to me.
Because I know what it feels like to carry life and fear at the same time.
To hear the words “your baby might not make it.”
To love fiercely through uncertainty.
To fight for a voice in the room.
To hold a 2-pound miracle on your chest and whisper, we made it.
I’ve given birth five times.
I’ve labored, I’ve recovered from two C-sections, I’ve mourned a loss, and I’ve sat beside NICU monitors for weeks at a time.
I’ve breastfed beyond toddlerhood. I’ve made impossible choices. I’ve advocated for my life.
And I’ve done all of it as a Black woman in a system that didn’t always see me.
I don’t take motherhood portraits to fill frames. I take them to tell the truth.
The truth that motherhood is both fragile and powerful. That your story deserves to be honored. That your presence—through the fog, through the fear, through the fierce love—is worth remembering.
So, whether your baby is brand new, arriving early, or already filling out those cheeks, I’m here to help you remember the beauty in it.
The realness. The strength.
Because you’ve been through enough to know that these moments don’t come around twice.
And when my own daughter steps into motherhood someday, I want her to know what it looks like to take up space, to be seen, and to be heard. Starting with me. Starting with you.

From the depths of my own motherhood journey, I know how important it is to capture those tender moments of newness, love and change that we experience becoming parents.

While we may plan the date, coordinate attire, and discuss your vision, I love candid moments and going with the flow! This creates a more relaxed family and baby led portrait experience, resulting in real-life moments families love every single time!
